The UP VINTA Project, a flagship initiative of the University of the Philippines (UP) and international partners to make UP courses accessible across borders, is set to launch in Thailand.

“This project represents a significant step forward in bringing forth different learning pathways to OFWs (Overseas Filipino Workers) and their loved ones,” the UP announcement read.

The UP VINTA Project aims to make quality higher education accessible particularly for OFWs and their families to complete UP degree programs and courses through a fully online mode of instruction.

The project was first launched in Japan in March 2024. It will set sail for four more countries, including destinations across Asia and beyond.

The launch event for UP Vinta’s arrival in Thailand is scheduled for May 18 2024 at the Avani Sukhumvit Bangkok Hotel in Thailand.
